The Oakland Raiders have announced the signing of former Redskins and 49ers cornerback Carlos Rogers.
The nine-year veteran joins fellow defensive back Tarell Brown as former members of the San Francisco 49ers’ secondary to join the Raiders this offseason. He spent three seasons with the 49ers, starting all 48 games during his tenure. He was named to the Pro Bowl and earned second-team Associated Press All-Pro honors in 2011. His career totals with the 49ers and Washington Redskins include 126 games played with 116 starts, 503 tackles (392 solo), 17 interceptions, 109 passes defensed, one sack, four forced fumbles and six fumble recoveries.
